Connect for Success
On behalf of the International SalonSpa Business Network’s Board of Trustees, I’d
like to invite you to our 2010 Conference—"Connect for Success."
The last 12 months have challenged us more as salon owners than any in history.
The only thing we know for sure about the next 12 is that how we do business must
continue to evolve in order for us to survive and grow. That’s why it’s more important
than ever for us to discuss what’s working, what’s not and how we go forward. I’ve
been attending ISBN meetings for more than 20 years, and my business has grown in
ways I never imagined as a result—regardless of the economy—thanks to what I’ve
learned from my ISBN colleagues.
Whether they operate thousands of salons or three spas, the senior management of
companies, including Regis, Fantastic Sams, JCPenney Salons, Chatters Canada, Charles
Penzone Salons, Philip Pelusi Salons and more, are here. While each company has
its own personality, culture and unique approach to business, we all share the same
goals—creating wonderful career opportunities for our teams and helping consumers
look and feel their best with professional salon and spa services and products.
As a result of your feedback, we’re dedicating more time at Conference to what you
want most—exchanging ideas, including everything from best practices to what not
to do. (The sharing continues all year long on our members-only listserv.) Plus,
to help us navigate the changing landscape, we have two powerful keynote speakers—Bob
Prosen and Jenny DeVaughn. Finally, during our signature Speed Meetings, you can
learn what our industry partners have to offer you.
This year, we’re connecting at the beautiful new Terranea Resort, one of the finest
oceanfront resorts ever created on the California coast. Our 2010 Golf Outing
tees off at the nearby Trump National Golf Club. And your all-inclusive registration
fee includes breakfast and lunch both days, as well as our President’s Reception,
Cocktail Reception Monday evening and Closing Dinner on Tuesday night.
Regardless of where you are in your career or in the lifespan of your business,
everyone has something to share and something to learn. When we’re all successful,
the industry “pie” grows and everyone wins. Please join us.
Warm regards,
Gordon B. Logan
President, ISBN
